Alcochem Hygiene BV cares about your privacy. We only process data that we need to (improve) our services and will be careful with the information we collect about you and your use of our services. We will never make your details available to third parties for commercial purposes.

About data processing
Below, you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and who has access to the data.
Web shop software/ Web hosting
Our shop is developed with software from WooCommerce, we have chosen for our web hosting Intention. Personal data that you make available to us for our services will be shared with this party. Intention has access to your data to offer us (technical) support, they will never use your data for another purpose. On the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them, Intention is obliged to take suitable security measures.
These security measures consist of the application of SSL-encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data.
WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services.
E-mail and mailing lists
We send our e-mail newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data are stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technology to understand whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of services and as part of this process to share information with third parties.
Office 365
We use the services of Office365 for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data. Payment processors
To handle (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment information, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, to share (anonymised) data with third parties.
All the above-mentioned safeguards for the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie’s services for which it engages third parties. Mollie will not retain your data any longer than is permitted by law.
Reviews
We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on their own website.
In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information only to invite you to leave a review.

Shipping and logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We make use of the services of Boekuwzending PostNL/DPD or UPS to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence data with Boekuwzending PostNL/DPD or UPS. Boekuwzending PostNL/DPD or UPS will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. In the event that Boekuwzending PostNL/DPD or UPS engage subcontractors, Boekuwzending PostNL/DPD or UPS will also make your data available to these parties.
Invoicing and bookkeeping
We use the services of CASHweb/Odoo for our administration and bookkeeping. We share your name, address and place of residence data and details regarding your order. These details are used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored in a protected manner. CASHweb/Odoo is obliged to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. CASHweb/Odoo doesn’t use your personal information for other purposes than described above.
External sales channels
We also sell (some of) our products through the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com will share your order and personal data with us. We use this information to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss and unauthorised use.
Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your details for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information – other than at your request – to contact you at a later date, we will ask you for your explicit permission. Your details will not be shared with third parties other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by agreement between them and us or by an oath or legal obligation.
