Installation instructions

Place moth traps in close proximity to food storage areas, but avoid direct placement next to these storage areas. This is designed to distract male insects from any female insects that might be there. This is because the trap contains pheromones, which provide the attraction. Once all male insects are captured by the pheromone moth trap, there is no chance of reproduction, which will ultimately lead to a decrease in moth infestation.

Avoid placing moth traps near windows opened for ventilation, or in other locations with a high degree of air change, such as air vents. Pheromones released from traps placed in such locations may diffuse into the monitored area, leading to an undesirable effect of attracting male moths from outside.

Place moth traps on top of cupboards where food products are kept. One trap is sufficient for an area of up to 100m2. Do not place more than one moth trap per 50m2 to avoid interference between the pheromones released by the traps.
